Test Proctor

It is a test of dynamic soil compaction that is performed in a laboratory of soil mechanics and that has as main purpose to obtain the maximum dry density (Kg/m3) and optimum moisture (%) of a soil for certain energy. Compaction is an important means to increase resistance and decrease the compressibility of soils, since it facilitates the arrangement of particles.
